This week, the baseball card packs continue their slump, but the podcast is as raucous as ever! The boys rant about how football doesn’t feature much skill. Players dully advance the ball with their hands. In other sports, the object is handled with a degree of skill: with a stick, a racquet, a foot, or a bat. That’s why football adds grievous violence and impossible plays. Football also wastes energy. Why does a “receiver” run his route 10 times without receiving anything? An outfielder in baseball might not catch anything in 10 outs, but at least he doesn’t have to fake play (i.e. run around and act like he’s involved!) Suck it football!
