However, the NFL tries to rid itself of obstructions by changing several important rules every year. Are these changes meant to “fix” the sport? Haha, of course not; they are just reactions to last season’s blunders, consistent with the sport’s tendency to incite “reactions” instead of aesthetic value. In this episode, subjected to scientific study, is the idea that a sport’s regular season may create an unresolved aesthetic question that finds resolution in a championship series. Baseball doesn’t point towards establishing an autocratic figure of winningness, but football seems to demand it. Why? Because football sucks!!!
